Today’s springtime wedding from Heather Chipps is the perfect example of how important styling and great photography are in a wedding. This couple was on a tight budget, but you definitely don’t get that budget feel with how beautifully everything was put together. I cannot believe that the bride’s entire look (gown, veil, and all) were DIY’ed by her family. You can tell that their priorities were having fun and some gorgeous photos at the end of the day to show for it.
The location was next to a man made lake on a clear spring day, my colors were emerald green, creme, and gold. The style of the wedding was indie/rustic/hipster.
The getting ready for it all and getting all dolled up with my bridesmaids was the best. I also loved dancing with my husband at the reception was the best!!
The most important thing to the both of us was to have fun and the anticipation of being married. It was all stressful but SO worth it.
Everything was simple and hand made. DIY inspirations from Pinterest. From my dress to the decorations. We tried to spend as little as possible, but still make it look beautiful.
