We love when couples infuse tradition and culture into their wedding day! Today’s couple took it to next level with 4 outfit changes and a classic reception you will love. Scroll to see it all captured beautifully by Selycia Yang Photography!

How we envisioned our wedding western meets tradition. Marshall and I are Vietnamese-Americans. We wanted the traditional American wedding but also didn’t want to lose our heritage and where our parents came from. We picked The Hutton House because the venue was a big white modern canvas. We kept everything neutral blush tones.

We had four outfits changes. A beige/neutral Vietnamese traditional wedding dress or the Ao Dai in the morning for the two tea ceremonies, than an off white or ivory elegant American dress and traditional tuxedo for our first look and reception entrance. Then later changed into another Vietnamese wedding dress or the Ao Dai in color red for dinner and toast/speeches. We changed back into our Tuxedo and white/ivory dress for our first dance, father and daughter dance and mother and son dance. Lastly, only the bride change into another Vietnamese dress in color greyish blue for a modern look to join the open dance with the guests and family.

Our flowers were lots of white flowers and greenery. I love baby’s breath and our reception centerpieces was just full of baby’s breath. My favorite cake is the neapolitan cake at Buttercream. So, it was a no brain who will be making our wedding cake.
