Today we are sharing such a sweet Florida garden wedding captured by Caroline Maxcy Photography. The soft blush color palette was dreamy with their gorgeous outdoor ceremony. We love all the vintage silver and tea cups they included in their reception for a timeless look.
We both love nature and we felt that the gardens of Bok Tower were going to be the perfect place to have our wedding. We had a date at Bok Tower one day while we were still dating and fell in love with it. Our color scheme was a combination of blush pink, rose gold, and graphite. We wanted the colors to blend well with the green gardens in June.
My mom gave me her Jade necklace and earrings to complete my wedding outfit. I also attached a beautiful blue cameo to the bottom of my bouquet that belonged to my mother-in-law’s mom.
I wore a flowy ivory spaghetti-strapped dress for our June wedding day. Brett wore the classic black tuxedo and bowtie. Our style is always simple and we wanted our wedding attire to reflect who we really are.
Our favorite part of the day was shooting the first look. We wanted our first look done at a spot that we thought was really romantic when we visited the gardens for our date. Our other favorite part of the day was when we were finally able to eat some food!
The most important thing to us during the planning process was our happiness and being able to share that day with close family and friends.
