If you’ve been dreaming of a wedding that is soft and feminine, with a touch of whimsy, this shoot captured by The Happy Bloom is everything you need to be inspired! Taking inspiration from the monarch butterfly, this sweetly Southern Charleston shoot is overflowing with chic ideas perfect for a spring wedding. The color palette of peaches, pinks, and yellows is so romantic. We love the adorable mini lace tambourines for the ceremony exit! And the lace tablecloth at the reception adds such fabulous texture and charming vintage vibes to the wedding table. Get your pin button ready to save all the pretty!
For our garden inspired shoot, we envisioned a small elopement for our stunning couple with a lavish yet intimate dinner to follow on the grand porch at one of the Holy City’s top destinations. With a soft color palette, we wanted all elements of this shoot to be delicate and feminine. Taking traditional aspects from any wedding and putting a spin on them was our goal throughout. Instead of tossing flower petals as the bride and groom exited, we wanted our guests to be apart of the celebration while shaking mini tambourines. Bridesmaids are known to carry bouquets full of blooms, but our colorful girls carried wicker baskets with flowers adorned to them. We all know the southern tradition is to bury a bottle of bourbon, upside down, at the ceremony site a month before the wedding to keep Mother Nature at bay. But why must the bride be left out?! We decided she should be able to bury something sweet for herself so a bottle of rose was added to the moment.
