We are big Jane Austen fans here on G&G, so couldn’t resist this sweet shoot inspired by Pride and Prejudice by ee photography! The soft pastel color palette is the perfect springtime wedding inspiration for any vintage lover. We love the bride’s loose updo á la Keira Knightley in the 2005 film adaptation, adding to the effortlessly romantic vibe. And those mini book cupcakes are beyond adorable! Such a cute detail!
The love of all things Jane Austen, vintage and romance sparked this wedding shoot. I mentioned the idea to the ladies at Southern Grace Design and Rentals and we partnered to make all of our Mr. and Mrs. Darcy dreams come true! Classic, timeless roses were the only option for this vintage shoot. We stayed with the soft, pale pink and ivory color palette. We personalized the bouquet with a vintage cameo and chiffon ribbon to create a bit of whimsy. The tablescape mixed timeless florals with vintage decor stacked on books. The china, linens and table cards (listed as chapters) all played into the Jane Austen, bookworm aesthetic.
