With it’s simple florals and DIY details, it is easy to fall in love with this organic mountainside wedding from 135milimetros! The bride and groom handmade most of the details, including all the paper goods and flowers. And even more special, the bride wore her mother’s gown reimagined as her own! Love!
We are simple people, and we wanted to have a wedding just like us. So, we had a simple decoration with flowers, and had the theme of Portuguese writers (because we love to read!). Also, we were very lucky of our choice in the location. Casa do Valxisto is simply amazing, and was beyond our expectations.
I always had a dream of marrying in my mother’s wedding dress. So I took it, and made it a little modern and gave it my style.
We were very selective with the guests, so all the people there were truly important to us. With this, we felt so very happy and grateful for seeing everyone enjoying the day, the venue, the great wine and food and, of course, having fun. The venue was very cozy and it was perfect for our winter wedding day.
I was very methodic with the choice of all the flowers. I wanted simple but elegant flowers for that combined with the venue. It was made by me and my mother in law, just the way I dreamed it. For our favors we cooked some orange crush. For the lids of the jars we used linen fabric from the groom’s family.
