In springtime, you often see a lot of cherry blossom inspiration. But I have fallen for this soft and romantic pear blossom inspiration from Christine Gosch. The neutral color palette is so elegant and dreamy.
As bees buzz from bloom to bloom, light dances throughout the pear trees in Pearland, Texas where our shoot takes place. Our team wanted to do justice to the beautiful spring-time phenomenon. We were inspired by the hundreds of tiny white blooms that appear in early spring.
Because we felt that texture was a major inspiration factor, we utilized handmade napkins with crocheted elements, a handmade headpiece, and handwritten invitations & signage on textured paper, all handcrafted by local vendors to Houston. The table scape consisted of pear tree branches and vintage plates & glassware, which matched the blooms & shape of the pear tree. The gown and veil really helped to pull everything together, as it’s color & texture embodied the look of the blooms- white, sprinkled with floral embellishments, and magical in the beautiful spring-time light. Our color palette of white, mustard, gold, and mauve was a relaxed, yet refined choice for this lovely day.
