You don’t need too much decoration when you have a beautiful setting and this farm wedding from Hannah Kate Photography is a gorgeous. This couple brings some glam to a classic rustic California style. The bride’s off the shoulder lace gown and the groom’s blue velvet suit together is such an elegant and chic look.
I absolutely love where we live and I knew I wanted a barn wedding. I loved our venue when I first saw it. The barn had so much character and the view was amazing. And since it had rained it was so green and just breathtaking.
I wanted rustic and shabby chic. We had gold glitter wine bottles with succulents and baby’s breath with large wood rounds and can’t forget the burlap. I wanted pinks and champagne colors which paired nicely!
The most important for us was to be stress free haha. But in all honesty we wanted to make it enjoyable for our families and friends and we trusted that Hannah our photographer & Robert our videographer would capture the beauty in it all.
We made all the centerpieces. We spray painted wine bottles and cut the wood rounds ourselves and potted all the succulents. I also had my hair stylist who owns an etsy shop make my bridesmaids and myself a stemless wine glass for our mimosas.
The weather was so beautiful. I enjoyed the food, sitting in the middle of our family and friends and enjoying a delicious dinner. Also sneaking away to take pictures, the scenery was so beautiful, it was as perfect as “perfect” can be.
