It’s hard for me to resist a pink and gold wedding. So when the amazing Sarah Kathleen sent this glam backyard wedding my way, I couldn’t wait to share! It’s the perfect blend of relaxed and romantic. I love that they ended the night off with s’mores!
For inspiration, I was inspired by thinking about “backyard glam”. Two words you don’t normally associate together. I wanted a really casual, warm, intimate backyard wedding – romantic with golds and pinks.
Everything was centered around our story and things close to our hearts. The tables were named after places we’d traveled to. The cocktail menu was centered around our favorite drinks. We went to a beer and cheese pairing the day we got engaged, so it only made sense to have a beer pairing with each cheese offered.
The food was amazing and was paired with the wine to showcase the best of San Luis Obispo. We really wanted to share a piece of the area that was so special to us, so we centered our menu, wine and welcome baskets around local favorites. And the mid-dance-party Fernet Shots? So San Francisco. And of course, we had to have our little Walter (the corgi) in the ceremony!!
