I’m so excited to share today’s wedding, because it is at the beautiful Don CeSar in Tampa Bay, a historic and iconic Floridian hotel. It is the perfect backdrop for Lisa and Jason’s vintage elegant wedding!
The lovely Lisa shares all the details:
The most important aspect of our wedding was to bring friends and family together to celebrate our marriage. We wanted an elegant affair; and achieved it with the selection of our venue, bridesmaid gowns, tuxes and centerpieces. We chose The Don CeSar Beach Resort in St. Pete Beach, Florida as our venue. The ladies in the wedding party wore floor length gowns and the men wore tuxes with tails. Instead of flowers for centerpieces, we chose candles. The room looked amazing with the glow of over 150 candles.
My husband and I also wanted a photographer who would capture our emotions throughout the day. We hired Stephanie A. Smith who worked quickly and unobtrusively. She managed to document every moment with precision and flair; and in a few photos, seemed to capture our very souls. Additionally, our DJ, Rob Vollmer, was exceptional. He read the crowd and was able to bring everyone together on the dance floor.
Another important aspect of our wedding was to have a completely vegetarian (not vegan) wedding. No animal products, except dairy, were used. Both our rehearsal dinner and reception were vegetarian. The menus were executed so well that even the die-hard meat eaters were pleased.
Overall, the day of the wedding was spectacular. I loved my wedding gown and my husband looked incredibly handsome. Each individual in our enormous wedding party (29, not including us) looked like they walked out of the pages of a magazine. We had an awesome day. My husband and I took time to look around the room and revel in the moment. It was precious to see all of our loved ones together in one room having a wonderful time. It was truly magical!
