Today I’m sharing this sweet spring wedding set in Bologna, Italy captured by Avoriophoto. I love all the cute handmade details and of course, the bride’s pink cardigan!
I will never forget the moment when my husband asked me to marry him: I cried, I kissed him and I said YES!! From that moment we started to thinking about the realization of our wedding day: everything had to reflect ourselves, our tastes, our desires. We wanted our guests to feel welcome and comfortable.
It was a religious ceremony , celebrated by a fantastic italian-american Priest, Padre Paul. When I arrived in front of the Church I was so excited and happy at the same time, very very happy. My friends told me that I looked like a princesse, with my white dress, simple but sweet and romantic, as me.
The choice of the location was a beautiful farm located in the Bolognese Apennines. The atmosphere at the reception was so warm and joyful, all lit by candles and lanterns on the tables and in the garden outside. The handmade decorations and flowers gave everything a homey feel which was just what we wanted.
This romantic atmosphere was interrupted at one point by a fantastic Harlem Shake organised (at surprise) by a group of our friends. It was a very fun time continued with dancing and music! Friends and parents joined us in the most beautiful day of our lives. We gave each one a book in memory of this special day.
