Vintage Glam Pink Garden Wedding

Today’s wedding is for the glam girl in all of us! With lace and tulle galore, it’s hard not to love this pink garden wedding from George Street Photo. The bride’s look is too stunning with her gown and over the top veil!

Darren proposed in August 2011 and we decided to have a summer 2012 wedding. With only 9 months to plan, we decided to host both our wedding covenant and reception at The Quarles Private Estate located in View Park–Windsor Hills of Los Angeles, CA. Darren always loved “The Great Gatsby”, so we shared the idea of creating a 1920s-themed garden wedding. We decided to use the color blush as our themed color, an ode to my favorite movie, Steel Magnolias.

Darren and I loved every minute of our wedding. It’s hard to pick specific moments as our favorites, but we have several moments that certainly stand out. Our covenant ceremony was amazingly beautiful. I will always remember when Darren asked Apostle Price, the officiate, if he could kiss me again. All of our guests were laughing hysterically.

We hosted over 300 family and friends and wanted to make sure they enjoyed every moment. We decided to treat our guests with amazing food from our caterer, Choura Events, a fun smoothie and candy station, and awesome entertainment with a jazz band and a live crooner singing all Frank Sinatra hits.

We were so grateful to have shared our love with so many family and friends. Darren and I worked diligently to create a wonderful experience for our guests. While planning our wedding, we discovered how well we worked together and knew our wedding was just the start of a wonderful life together as a team.
