With a focus on exclusive romance and elegant ambiance, Catherine and Jon hosted their intimate celebration in the backyard of Jon’s family home in Southampton. The location held deep meaning for the couple, filled with memories of fireside evenings and music under the stars. Floral arrangements, crafted in a soft palette of ivory, cream, and blush, were designed to feel as though they had naturally grown from the surrounding garden beds — many featuring mossy textures to enhance the organic aesthetic. Catherine stunned in a vintage dress that fit like a glove. Tucked into a grove of trees, the couple exchanged personal vows during their outdoor ceremony. The atmosphere was airy and ethereal — blush-toned, garden-inspired, and never overdone. Their effortless energy carried through every detail, from signature cocktails to lush peonies and moonlit moments. Captured by Michelle Jackson Studio, a standout of the evening was their dance to “Unchained Melody” by The Righteous Brothers — a fitting high point to an unforgettable night.

“One of our favorite getaway trips has always been to Jon’s family home in Southampton. It became such a special place for us and knew that we wanted to have our wedding there. When we are in Southampton, we find ourselves outside by the fire, listening to music and taking in all of the beautiful scenery. When planning our wedding, the key elements we focused on were private, romantic, elegant and exclusive.”

“When looking for bridal gowns, I came across a vintage dress that I couldn’t get out of my mind. Even though I had no idea if it would fit my measurements, I decided to order it anyway. The deep-ivory-toned gown ended up fitting like a glove, and with minor alterations to modernize the dress, I paired my no-label dress with brand-new Christian Louboutin crystal-embellished mesh and glittered pumps.”

“We wrote our own vows for the ceremony which was so special. We wanted the opportunity to speak our own words about love, marriage, and our future together. We loved also having traditional vows included, but it felt special to take a moment to express how much we mean to each other, and what our wedding day meant to us.”

“Our goal was to create a timeless wedding mixed with organic accents. Because the backyard of Jon’s family home is filled with mostly greens, we wanted to feel like every arrangement was growing naturally from the ground or table. We tried to keep it mostly whites, creams and blush tones with moss bases.”

“Our advice? Do what you and your partner truly want to do. Try not to get caught up in the stress and always remind each other that it’s about the love you share and the excitement that comes with starting this next chapter. The day goes by so quickly, so try to stay as present as you can!”

“Our first dance was Unchained Melody by The Righteous Brothers played on the saxophone. We danced by the pool, which was surrounded by string lights, candles, and the moonlight.”
