Feeling all the fresh springtime vibes with this sweet garden wedding captured by Carrie Joy Photography! It is completely filled with colorful blooms. How dreamy are the flower place settings?
Our wedding was in spring and we really wanted to use those colors of nature in our wedding. Our theme was garden party, lots of florals but in the vibe of just picked from the garden. The grounds at Callanwolde are beautiful and have lots of gardens so we didn’t need to bring in many flowers. We just played up the nature around us!
The location was most important, Callanwolde is such a gorgeous location that we didn’t have to do much to it.
Seeing each other after being apart getting ready was our favorite. It’s such a big day and I just wanted to be with Alex. We did a first look which let us be together way more than if we had waited for the aisle.
I wanted our flowers to look like they had grown out of the tables. It was spring and the flowers were blooming all around us. I just wanted to continue that vibe with our flowers.
My dad’s wife makes us unique and detailed cakes for all of our celebrations so it was a no brainer that she would make our wedding cake! It was simple and DELICIOUS! We did red velvet with cream cheese frosting because the bride loves all things cheese.
