Saying hello to color in this vibrant Greece inspired wedding inspiration from Always Andri captured by Maxeen Kim Photography! We love how this team took a fresh color palette of peach and blue, but still kept a soft and romantic feel. From the rich colored walls of the venue to the lush florals, this shoot is a color lover’s dream. Our favorite detail is the beautiful hand-painted ceramics. They add such a lovely whimsical touch to the tablescape!
When photographer Maxine Kim contacted me, wanting to create a bold and colourful fine art shoot titled ‘Hellenic Sky’ – inspired by Greece (where she lives) and the colours of Greek ceramics, I immediately fell in love with the concept. So often we see the pared back and understated side of fine art ideas. It really brought my creativity alive to plan and design a shoot with personality and a multicultural influence whilst keeping that fine art touch. With a love story in mind, of a Greek woman marrying a guy in the UK – wanting to enjoy the colours and tastes of home on her wedding day, I brought together a talented team of suppliers to make the vision a reality. I designed the tablescape to be a tactile celebration of colour and culture. Handmade ceramics by Studio HETHE. Blue glassware, candles, and accent linen. Gold cutlery and an abundance of flowers. The delicious sharing platters of food, provided by Smallpiece catering, appealed to my Greek roots. It was a feast for the senses – with a colourful array of Greek and Turkish flavours. Foodie heaven!
