Industrial and romantic collide in this gorgeous Las Vegas wedding from Starry Eyed Events captured by Kathy Cuadra Photo. The soft color palette and hanging greenery looks dreamy in contrast with the industrial vibe setting. We love the clear ghost chairs that add a whimsical and modern touch!
Our vision was clear from the beginning, we wanted the entire night to feel romantic and whimsical! Lots of white, dusty rose and greenery helped us create that feeling throughout the night. Our intention for the wedding theme was to break the mold — the wedding theme is a representation of my husband & I. We chose the Doyle because it was different and we instantly envisioned our dream wedding in the space. We booked it the moment our tour was over. Plus they have alpacas that live on the property that gets to hang out with you on your special night!
I felt heavily inspired by Hayley Paige’s dresses- I loved the whimsical feel her dresses gave! My dress was custom made by Flor de Liz Guior, a local made-to-measure atelier in the Las Vegas valley! I picked the fabrics, and lace patterns and was heavily involved with the designing process.
The most important aspect of planning was definitely picking the right photographer and videographer. We spend the entire night with these people so it made all the difference that we laughed all night together. But, we wouldn’t have found our perfect match with those vendors without our wedding planner! We definitely splurged on the acrylic chairs, but those chairs made all the difference with the ambiance of our wedding! We skipped a photo booth, no one even noticed we didn’t have one!
Victor didn’t care much about the florals like he did everything else with the planning process— but I had a vision and I wanted it to go perfectly! I chose a big bouquet with all white flowers because it was the dreamiest bouquet I could think of. For the rest of the florals (centerpieces and bridesmaid florals) we used whites, dusty blush, desert rose tones and hints of burgundy! Our florist made a beautiful floral garden for us that sat behind us as we said our I do’s and in front of our sweetheart table.
Funny story about our wedding cake — every wedding we have been to in the past three years we’ve noticed how NOBODY ate any so we opted for a tiny cake and had an assortment of concha on the table instead of getting a huge cake. The cake was gone instantly, our bridal party didn’t even a piece because of how quickly the cake disappeared. Thankfully everyone got to enjoy the conchas we had surrounding our tiny wedding cake.
