Greenery lovers rejoice! Today’s beautiful fall wedding from Michelle Joy Photography is sure to make you fall in love. Draped in greenery, the reception is classic and romantic and oh so sweet. And the outdoor ceremony, under the beautiful autumn trees, is a dream!
The Trout Club was the first place we looked and we fell in love. It was beautiful and all inclusive. Amanda, the Trout Club event coordinator, completely captured me. She was warm and inviting and, from the start, made me feel so comfortable about the entire wedding process. Literally any questions we had, whether big or small or anything we needed, she answered and was there to help us get that. The food is also PHENOMENAL.
I included my grandmothers ring as my something old. I used my moms real pearl earrings as something borrowed as well. During my dad and my first look, he gave me a bracelet that had a small photo of him and I on it. It is a photo that means a lot to us. He is holding me as a little girl, I have no teeth, haha and we are dancing at a family members wedding. He had always kept that as one of his favorite photos.
My mom was one of my Matrons of Honor <3 which was one of my favorite parts of the wedding. She is so lovely in every way. Heart and soul and being. My parents really wanted our families to be able to relax and enjoy that day along with Tony and I. That is why we had a lot of help from other vendors. I am so happy we did that. It made for a wonderful, memory filled day for everyone.
My favorite color is green and it paired so well with all the fall colors. I had deep wine reds and ivory as well, but mostly greeneries. I love lanterns and with the rustic industrial aesthetic of The Trout Club it paired so well together! Red Dahlia’s, Ivory Roses and deeper greeneries were my main floral choices. My florist threw some mauve tones in also. It was beautiful! I wanted a very classy, romantic and kind of vintage feel to the style but also simple in a sense. It all turned out so perfectly.
I surprised my husband with singing a song to him right before we had our first dance. It was a song I had heard overseas and instantly thought of Tony. The lyrics really say how I feel about him. The song is “I get to love you” b Ruelle. The only people who knew about me singing were a few vendors. I kept it a secret from even my own family. I practiced with Karrie Miller, who taught me breathing technics and Michelle Staley, my photographer, started as a worship leader at my church along with her husband, Josh Staley, (who was my DJ for the wedding). It was such a magical moment seeing his face. I was terrified but excited with it being my first time in front of him and my loved ones.
