I don’t often see Mike in a nice suit so I wanted to be a little more formal. We married fairly young so I wanted to have something romantic but also sweet to reflect that. The florals in my hair were actually the idea of my hairstylist, Kendall Peters, and it was the perfect touch. With three kids, work and just life in general it was really nice to have such an intimate moment to ourselves. We got all dressed up and relived all the hand-holding and sweet kisses just like we did when we were dating. It was almost like going back in time for an hour. 18 years later and he’s still the one I like to dress up for.
