The Southern charm is in full effect for this colorful Georgia wedding from Hannah Marilyn Photography. Set at the bride’s grandpa’s farm, it couldn’t be sweeter! We love the vibrant color palette, giving this winter wedding a bright and summery feel. The greenery decked tented reception is like a dream, filled with fabulous food stations and treats to keep all of this couple’s 400 guests happy.
When we started planning our wedding, we struggled finding a venue that we liked that could accommodate our 400 person guest list. When my mom suggested having the wedding at my grandpa’s farm, we loved the idea! We wanted to go for the southern feel, but not the typical barn experience. Many thanks to my mom and our wedding planner, Scott, for pulling together the classy, colorful southern wedding!
I knew I wanted a more colorful wedding (see the flowers and reception pictures for proof! haha), so we wanted to give the bridesmaids and groomsmen a more standard, classy look to complement the colors. We decided on blue and grey, and I loved how it turned out!
Our top priorities were making our faith known and making sure as many of our family and friends could be their as possible! Also, we loved our food caterer, and would definitely choose them again!
It had rained so much leading up to our wedding, and we had gotten so concerned it would rain during our outdoor wedding, or the dirt roads would be too wet for anyone to attend. However, the day was gorgeous, and our guests were chauffeured in on golf carts, four-wheel drive trucks, and everything else which was a hoot! Also, walking down the aisle to my husband, in front our so many of our loved ones, was so special.
I absolutely loved our flowers my Emily Wildes. She brought my dream of color to life in a subtle, wildflower look- perfect for our outdoor wedding.
We had a local coffee shop, Three Tree Coffee Roasters, cater our wedding, and they prepared coffee favors for us that everyone was able to take with them!
