Planner & Designer, Kristan Shamus was inspired by Elliston Estate’s historical elements. She envisioned Elliston in its hay-day of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Our styled shoot took a unique perspective to a common theme as we re-imagined what it would mean to blend the history of the Elliston estate in 1919 with today’s world and what it would look like had these guests attended a wedding at Elliston in 2019. We wanted guests of 2019 to feel an old-world elegance and the guests of 1919 to feel a new-world modernism while leaving everyone with a sense of belonging with what was familiar to them and what would be something of wondrous newness.
