Sometimes springtime still means snow and this Minnesota elopement shoot from Studio under the Sky shows how gorgeous that can be. With a soft color palette of pink, gray, and silver, this snowy shoot a dreamy wonderland. We love the heirloom details like the handcrafted pottery and vintage silverware!
Urban couple plans to elope”up North” as said in Minnesota. They have a modern approach, but celebrate true MN details and nature while incorporating family heritage heirlooms. This styled shoot was planned for Spring waterfall setting. On the scheduled day it was 26F, 60mph winds and lake Superior delivered 24′ waves. The tablescape was inspired by the environment of the North Shore of Lake Superior. The plates, and all additional dishes were hand made pottery by Minnesota artist Kevin Caufield. The silverware used for setting the table is an actual silver collection set from Groom’s grandmother.
