This sweet and intimate wedding from Carrie House Photography is sure to capture your hearts! With hints of blush, DIY bouquets, and adorable balloons to frolic with in the vineyards, this winery wedding is just too charming!
My wedding vision was magical and whimsical but also classic and timeless. We chose blush pink with gold and silver accents. Our location was Black Star Farms winery in Traverse City, Michigan.
My wedding dress was the most beautiful color – ivory with hints of blush pink. The bridesmaids both wore blush pink dresses in styles they felt comfortable and pretty in! Scott and the best man, his brother, both ordered custom gray suits and had blush pink ties and pocket squares.
My mom did all of our flowers! We went with blush pink roses and eucalyptus. They were just gorgeous. She put so much time and effort into all of be centerpieces on the cocktail tables and the bouquets. The bouquets we made featured blush silk ribbons hand dyed in Lithuania, found through Etsy. The pink balloons were also found through Etsy and featured a pretty gold heart on each balloon.
The most important thing was keeping the wedding “us”. We wanted every detail to represent our personalities and relationship. One of the most unique part of our wedding was a custom cartoon of Scott, our dog and I that we ordered from Miss Design Berry. We had our wedding date printed on it and used it as a guestbook alternative for all of our guests to sign! My mom has collected vintage china for many years. Each plate, cup and saucer are different and beautiful in their own way. We used those plates to eat the wedding cake on!
