If you’ve been playing around with the idea of eloping, this romantic Tuscany elopement from Weddings by Silke will have you looking at flight rates! Set at a 17th century villa, this inspiration couldn’t be more romantic. The neutral color palette and olive branch details let the gorgeous setting really shine. And that chapel? Like something from a dream!
Our vision of this organic Italian styled shoot was “The magic of a Chianti wedding”, filled with cypress, olivetrees and romantic buildings. Inspired by the imposing XVII century Villa Vistarenni, owned by the noble family of Prince Ferdinando Strozzi and later by Baron Giorgio Sonnino and the lovely Chapel – an architectural delight protected by cypresses stretching out toward the sky. This small sixteenth century building in the neo renaissance style is perfectly restored. The lintel bears the date 1584 and the church is dedicated to the Florentine Saint Maria Magdalena de’ Pazzi (1566-1607), one of the most famous and worshipped ecstatic saints of Catholicism.
