Today I am sharing the sweetest Rome elopement from Maison Pestea Photography and Getting Married in Italy. This couple traveled all the way from Australia to have the intimate Italy wedding of their dreams. There is just so much joy between these two as they explored the city together as husband and wife!
We decided to elope in Rome so that our wedding day would be intimate and simple. And of course, the city provided a beautiful backdrop.
Our colour scheme was a happy accident. None of the colours were chosen consciously, but the combination of blues, browns, and my mandarin garnet engagement ring complimented one another perfectly. Cam’s suit and my dress were chosen for their simplicity and classic style.
Being able to rely on our wedding planner, Sandra from Getting Married in Italy was really very important to our planning process – we couldn’t have done it without her. Although our day was simple, Sandra ensured that all documents were in order, arranged all of our bookings, and made our day stress-free.
Although it just the two of us, it felt like all of Rome was celebrating with us – everywhere we went, there was someone congratulating us. But ultimately, saying ‘I do’ was the best part of the day.
