The inspiration behind this editorial shoot stems from a classic, intimate love story about a love that transcends. The bride and groom yearn for a marriage more beautiful than their wedding, and their love story is reflected throughout all of the meaningful details shared here. Organic and natural elements, the elegant romantic setting, the beautifully restored chapel, and the wild, vibrant colors of the florals all meld together to reflect their unique love story.
The bride’s vintage, heirloom engagement ring reflects her heart for legacy, family, and a belief in timeless, elegant love. She is a believer in romance and that their love will last throughout the ages. The threadbare journal is a collection of love letters written by and passed back & forth between the bride and groom as they prepare for the wedding, and it encompasses the span of their love story from the beginning. Reading aloud from their journal at the wedding shows just how far their love has come and propels them into their future together. The calligraphy backdrop at their ceremony is swept with words from their favorite poem by e.e. cummings, further showing their admiration of classic, meaningful love stories.
