If you are a pink loving hopeless romantic, you will fall for today’s garden shoot from Kimberly Florence Photography and Heart’s Content Events and Design. I love all the beautiful rose details that show up not only in the florals, but in the desserts and the detailing of the gown. And how dreamy is that ceremony set up? Who wouldn’t want to get married under a gorgeous tree like that by the sea?
The inspiration from this shoot came from Song of Solomon 2:10-12: “My beloved spoke and said unto me, ‘Rise up my love, my fair one, and come away. For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; the flowers appear upon the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come.” This passage is so romantic to me, and being the hopeless romantic that I am, it left me breathless when I first read it as a little girl. It inspired me to seek a light and airy ambience with a strong, natural contrast that was stunningly captured by all the details of this shoot.
