You will fall in love with today’s romantic forest wedding from Courtney Stockton. With a neutral color palette and the gorgeous scenery as the main detail, this wedding is classic and elegant. My favorite detail is the chicken wire seating chart. Such a charming and easy DIY.
We chose the wedding venue because of the outdoor garden setting. You don’t need many decorations when the location is as beautiful as Wildwood Acres. Our accent colors were peach and a soft moss green. We wanted casual elegance.
The most important thing was to find the right location. The rest fell into place perfectly. The catering was also very important to us. The owner, Lien, used to own a restaurant in Walnut Creek and is very talented. The food was up to our high standards.
I handmade all the table numbers and wooden signs throughout the wedding. We cut fleece into blankets for when it got chilly. We cut the lace that went on top of all the tables. A friend of mine designed and painted the welcome chalkboard sign. I ordered the wedding favors off Etsy and put them together.
My favorite parts of the day were being introduced as Mr and Mrs Herndon and also dancing to our fabulous DJ. His name is Diamond Dave and is locally famous.
