I am absolutely falling for the colors in this rustic barn wedding from Brooke Courtney. Orange is sometimes a hard color to pull off, but it looks gorgeous here paired with peach and mint. The bouquets are amazing and I love all the personalized details they incorporated.
As my older sister told me from the beginning, “think of it as taking all your closest friends out to a nice dinner.” That began to spark my excitement of planning our wedding! Joe and I got engaged on September 29th 2012, on our favorite beach close to Maryland. The same beach where my aunt and sister both had their weddings. It was so special Joe incorporated that sentimental aspect into our engagement. My sister and brother in law photographed and recorded the whole proposal!
One of the most special moments would be when my mom and dad both walked me down the isle. They are both a big part of my life and who I am today, that I wanted both of them to be part of that special moment.
I picked my color palette of peach, mint, and gold tones from several Pinterest pins I kept going back to. Our colors and theme of “vintage chic,” looked perfect inside the rustic look of the barn at Ironstone Ranch.
On our wedding on September 20th 2014, I married my best friend. Sunny skies, and in the 70’s, it was a seamless day! It was all I hoped it would be, and I wish I could relive that day all over again!
