I’m so excited to share this sweet handmade wedding from the fabulous husband and wife duo at D’Avello Photography. It’s filled to the brim with easy, cute, and budget friendly details. I love all the colorful paper flowers! And like their hanging sign says: ‘things can’t get any better’.
My husband (Anthony) and I dreamt of a wedding that epitomized the very heart of our relationship, passions, and love for God. Ultimately, what we desired for our wedding was for our family and friends to not only join us in our wedding celebration but to leave seeing and feeling the joy that God has brought to our relationship and our lives.
Due to the fact that the entirety of our engagement was long distance, him being in Arizona and myself in Virginia, the day we finally came together was certainly a day to rejoice.
We were wed in my hometown church and had the desert/coffee bar reception in the church courtyard. While many people came, the feel remained that of close friends and family. During the ceremony, my husband’s and my favorite moment was when we made our way off stage to spend time in praise and worship of God with our loved ones.
We left the ceremony to a choir singing our favorite hymn, danced our first dance to a flash-mob compilation of songs narrating how we met, and were pushed away in our vintage car that would not start by our groomsmen.
