There might be too much to love in today’s handmade wedding (I know I’m having a hard time choosing my favorite thing!) From the amazing images captured by Sarah Kathleen, to the stunning layered tulle gown, to the sweetest ceremony set up, there’s a lot to fall in love with (and want to pin!)
When planning my wedding, the flowers, the photography, staying within our budget, and keeping Jesus at the center of it all were the most important things to me during the planning. I have to give a huge shout out to my husband, who was an incredible fiancé and helped with so much of the planning and organizing of it all! I love him.
The ceremony itself was such a highlight. I loved the vows we wrote for each other, and being able to turn our eyes and our hearts to worship Jesus in the midst of such a holy and awesome moment.
My inspiration came from the wooden doors that were on the ceremony site and, lets be honest, other ideas I’d seen on Pinterest. There is so much symbolism with doors and keys, and being that the event was my wedding I loved the idea of having the old wooden doors inspire the rest of the details and build a theme. Cheers to unlocking new things of love and life and journeying into a new season of marriage!
I loved all throughout the wedding looking out at the crowd of my family, long time friends and newer friends, who mean so much to me and realizing how incredibly blessed we are to have such a great community. I felt an overwhelming thankfulness for the people who came so far to celebrate, and those who helped make it such a beautiful and special day!
