Today’s wedding is perfectly rustic, simple, and sweet. I LOVE that the bride got to wear her mother’s gown, it is stunning! There were so many meaningful and beautiful moments too, like the candle lighting ceremony and the paper lantern send off. They are great ways to have guests involved in your special day!
I would describe our wedding as simple and elegant. Our colors are neutrals and whites. We just really want a laid back, fun, special day to share with everyone.
I wore my mom’s dress and had some brooches from my great-grandmother for mine and my sister’s bouquets.
All the guests had a candle and the light was passed from the back to the front to us to light the unity candle!
I made a lot of things, like chalk board signs and wooden signs, lawn games (corn hole and ladder golf), wreaths, and garland for the staircase.
