Today’s wedding is full of burlap and lace and all things sweet and rustic! I always love a simple and beautiful buttercream cake, and this one is so lovely! And I love their adorable ‘sweet as honey’ favors. What is your favorite detail?
The bride Jordan shares:
I chose the theme I wanted my wedding to be from scouring through photos on pinterest.com! I found ideas and photos that I loved and pieced them together to come up with my shabby chic theme. I love natural colors, but have been in love with the color purple since I was a kid, I knew I wanted to incorporate this into my theme. I ended up picking out purple dressses for my bridesmaids and had splashes of purple through out the flower arrangements.
The day of my wedding I felt very nervous, and emotional. I felt really blessed to be uniting with my best friend. I felt lots of love and happiness, I guess all the planning and prepping really did not matter to me anymore, my main thought was heading down the aisle and sharing this moment with Brandon. We had worked hard to make all the details happen and now it was time to enjoy the day and celebrate with our awesome friends and family!
I loved all the burlap, wood signs, and lace themes that have become popular so that became my vision. I planned my wedding with the help of family and friends and was able to get crafty and make things for the wedding, which really made me have a connection with my wedding!
