I recently got the chance to guest blog for ArtCarved Bridal for October as part of their blogger style series. It was a lot of fun sharing all my personal style inspiration as well as my favorite wedding details!
I was asked to pick a favorite ring, and boy was it hard to choose! Their Americana Collection is simply stunning! I finally decided upon their Annie engagement ring. I love the unique, yet classic look of the emerald cut center stone with the vintage flair of the surrounding diamonds.
One of my biggest inspirations in not only my personal style, but life in general, is my Nana. She embodies Glamour & Grace in every sense. She was the most loving and giving of women, always adventurous, always impeccably dressed. You may remember this little shoot I did a two years ago, just after her passing, in her memory. I often think how much I’d love her to see how far I’ve come and what I’ve made of myself. G&G was only a month old when she passed, but she was so excited for me when I started. I know how proud she would be to see me following my dreams and passions now. And of course, you all know how much I love peonies, so it was hard leaving them out of my list of style faves!
Audrey Hepburn is one of my biggest style icons. Her classic beauty and timeless elegance has always captivated me. Lately I have also been on a big Jane Austen kick. It must be the romantic in me because I could probably watch Pride and Prejudice every day of my life and not tire of it.
I have been loving the come back of the long traditional veil. I particularly love this pairing with the rhinestone headband. It is perfectly classic and chic, but modern at the same time. And my all time favorite wedding detail? It has to be chair decorations! I’ve talked about chair bling before, but seriously, could a lace and garland chair be any sweeter?
Come check out all these style faves plus more in my post on ArtCarved Bridal’s blog! And don’t forget to check out some of their amazing engagement rings while you are there!
