Today I’ve got a beautiful and classic Florida wedding with sweet details. I’m in love with the bride’s dress and the dapper tuxes for the men. And the ceremony location is truly lovely!
The gorgeous bride Anne tells us more:
Justin and I wanted our wedding day to be a reflection of us and those things most important to us . Our families and friends travelled from all across the world to support us and celebrate our marriage. Having the ceremony and reception at the same venue made it easy on our guests and seamless in the planning process. The Addison was the perfect venue, as the courtyard has a casual elegant feel with the beautiful banyan trees and lush vegetation.
We chose to add simple and classic details to enhance the outdoor setting – fluffy peonies, hydrangea, orchids, garden roses and cherry blossoms in pale pinks and creamy whites. A special moment in the ceremony was honoring a family wedding tradition by playing a recorded solo of the Lord’s Prayer, sung by the my grandfather who passed away two years ago.
Justin and I wanted our reception to be a true celebration – lots and lots of fun. The John Parker Band was the perfect backdrop to our party, bringing energy to a night full of dancing! The room was decorated in whites and golds, following the same floral scheme as the ceremony. An iridescent gold tablecloth picked up the peacock blue in the bridesmaids’ dresses. We Take the Cake made the most delicious and beautiful four-layer cake in all our favorite flavors. My friend made the whimsical monogrammed cookie favors and donated all proceeds to the American Cancer Society.
Our wedding was exactly how we envisioned it being – stress-free, beautiful and fun!
