This week I’m sharing a gorgeous blush pink and champagne wedding in Laguna Beach. I love the soft color palette and the laid back style of this beach chic wedding. And the portraits Stacey was able to capture are just stunning!

Our wedding was a mixture of two completely different traditions and ethnic background. I come from a very Vietnamese family and my husband came from a very traditional Caucasian family. Nevertheless, the wedding was about us and we made that clear to our families from the get go. We wanted to keep everything simple and beautiful while maintaining a budget. I am sure this is what most couples shoot for. I believe our biggest goal during the planning was keeping everything we do enjoyable.
We had our wedding held at the Tivoli Terrance in Laguna Beach. The venue was phenomenal. They did everything. We basically came one day to pick the colors of the linens and the design of the cake and just like that they made it happen. My favorite part of the wedding was my first look of the venue all set up before the guests arrive. It was so magical and so beautiful. The color palette was perfect. Light soft pink surrounded by classy champagne. They glistened romantically from the beautiful lined twinkle lights above. Surrounding us were colorful plants and a handsome Sycamore tree also wrapped with lights. Everything was beautiful together but taken apart, everything was also very simple. Our center piece was a beautiful white orchid plant (my favorite flower) that stood alone and spoke for itself without needing any other accessories.
During the wedding, my husband and I quickly realized that although the looks of the wedding was important, nothing was more important than the way it made us feel that night. 9 years together and finally at one place and one time we are both together with all of our loved ones, friends, and family to share the celebration of our love and vow to be together forever. That made it perfect.
