Vintage Fall Wedding for Two Brides

Get ready for fall with this super sweet Delaware wedding captured by Mason Photography! With vibrant purple blooms and the most gorgeous ceremony setting, this wedding is an absolute dream!

Our wedding was a fusion of timeless elegance with modern touches. We got married at Greenville Country Club in Wilmington, Delaware. I had grown up going there as a kid, so this place was special spot for me. We wanted to feature moody colors such as blacks, purples, touches of greens and golds. We incorporated that into our florals, our linens, our signage, and overall feel the of wedding. The whole place was doused in flowers and lit with candles, it was absolutely gorgeous. It was the perfect accent to a cool November wedding.

One of my favorite parts of the day was our first look. We were so nervous I think leading up to that. Our first look was breath taking and allowed us time as a couple to recharge and capture some wonderful photos. I think we also both enjoyed the special dances including our first dance, my father daughter dance, and Nicole’s brother sister dance. Those are moments I’l cherish forever.

We both decided to wear dresses, as that’s what felt right to us! We both selected different Maggie Sottero dresses for the ceremony and had outfit changes for the reception. My dress was A-line, with a low drop v-neck and see through back. The top was accented with beautiful beading. Nicole had a more ballroom style dress. It had beading accents at the top and also had a deep v neck in the front. Both dresses complemented one another perfectly.

Our wedding flowers were done by Grace at Flower Clvb. Grace was amazing to work with. She listened to our vision from day one and made it come to life. We had floral accents throughout the whole venue including the fireplace, the main hunt table, a a ceremony arch that got repurposed to the dance floor, and table arrangements. We requested that the flowers be moody to reflect our overall theme. They turned out beautiful. Nicole and I had complementary wedding bouquets.

Our band, the American Deluxe Band was out of the world. We had heard great things about them and man did they keep everyone on the dance floor until the end of reception! They were the best wedding band I’ve ever seen, and I’ve been to a lot of weddings. We also wanted to invest in the photography for our day. We were so lucky to work with Adam at Mason Photography. He made us feel comfortable and honestly became a good friend of ours through the process. Our photos are something we look back on and treasure.
