Red and black is sometimes a really hard combo to pull off, but it looks fabulous in today’s modern vintage NYC wedding. I love the bride’s fun and flirty short dress and the simple and chic centerpieces!
Our fun bride Erin shares:
Paul and I were highschool sweethearts and all these years later we were married by one of our good friends who was ordained here in NYC! Initially I wasn’t into planning anything and we were going to do a destination. The more I looked into it, the more I realized that it would be too impersonal and we wouldn’t be able to have all our friends and family. We had a strict budget from the beginning and we stuck to it for our NYC wedding.
I am a Designer so I made all the invitations and paper items for the wedding. We really enjoyed the whole process of planning, I wasn’t sure why I heard so many bridezilla stories, ECt as I thought it was fun and easy! Perhaps because we are such easy going people.
I love to dance so our dj was most important. We went through all the songs we wanted and he was amazing. Our fav part of our wedding was our first dance as we felt like no one was in the room but us. Everything was so perfect the whole night, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. We also couldn’t be happier that Jessica captured each and every moment for us. She was such a pleasure to work with and being in the arts field myself I was very specific about our picture ideas and they came out just how I envisioned it.
