Have you seen the new issue of Martha Stewart Weddings? I just love all the fabulous marbled ideas! The marbled texture is fun, but elegant and modern at the same time. It is super easy to add to so many elements in your wedding! My favorite idea is their marble painted favor boxes!

Here’s the details of how to get the look:
Marabu Easy Marble Paint in silver and clear
- Fold favor box and fill a bowl with enough cold water to allow the box to be submerged completely.
- Dip kitchen skewer into silver paint and touch end of skewer to surface of water. Dip another skewer into clear paint and touch the center of the silver paint. Repeat until you have created 10 to 12 concentric rings. With a fresh skewer, swirl paint to create a marble pattern.
- Holding the box at its edges, dip entire box into bowl of water and pull out quickly. Place favor box on a sheet of wax paper and let dry completely. Note: If box becomes too waterlogged and gets wrinkled, let dry, unfold, and iron the non-painted side on a low-heat setting.

Remember that pink and gold shoot I styled a few weeks back (if you need a reminder, see it here)? I did a very similar treatment to the back of the invite, dipping the paper in a blend of pink watercolor and gold guild paint.
