You will hear me say time and time again: I love personal details! They are what make your wedding ‘you’! Today I’m sharing a gorgeous vintage glam wedding with the most fabulous and personalized centerpieces. I love how each table is different, but incorporates something meaningful. And seriously, how sweet is the handkerchief she gave her dad??
The beautiful bride Amber shares:
We wanted a vintage inspired wedding. I searched through many garage sales, thrift stores and flea markets to find unique pieces to use in our wedding. Each centerpiece was a nod towards something vintage and it was also somehow connected to us or a member of our family. For example, I found old WWII airplane gauges that we used as one of the centerpieces. I wanted to use something airplane related since Ivo is a pilot, but it was also cool because my grandfather was in WWII. I also found an old X-ray ‘fixing powder’ tin, that was for me since I got my degree in Radiology. Just little things like that that were different, interesting and special to us.
Everything was decorated beautifully at the ceremony and reception and the food was absolutely delicious. We had so much fun between the photo booth, all the dancing (especially when the whole wedding party did the WOP and we even did the Hora chair dance) and mingling with all of our loved ones. Our DJ was amazing and the party probably could have extended through the entire night, but we were thankful to rest our sore feet at a reasonable hour! Ivo and I went back to the Tavern and Chapel in the Gardens and spent the night in Agatha’s cottage. We couldn’t have asked for anything more, everything was perfect and we couldn’t have had such a perfect day without all the help of everyone who was involved!
