My fiancé Marshall and I met through a mutual best friend in high school. He lived a couple house away from her and we had always been around each other but the timing was never right. Finally in the winter of 2008, we both had the opportunity to finally really talk to each other at a party and from that moment on we just knew that was it! Five years later we've been through college, the military and an almost two-year engagement and can't wait for our wedding in June! We are already using Impeint Cinema for our videography and love them!

My husband (as of January 20th!) and I met when our friends set us up, asking us to play video games with them. Good thing playing video games is still what we do together on a Saturday night!

David and I met at a bike race in Gainesville, February 2009. I was there supporting my little brother, one of David's teammates. As I chatted with my brother, gave him a hug, and wished him good luck, David later tells me that he sees me as he while he is warming up. He can still describe my wild unkempt hair, blue floral printed dress, and large sunglasses. He asks his teammates "Who is that?! Does Ryan have a girlfriend or is that his sister?". They tell him that I am his sister and David can't help but catch Ryan alone and ask him to introduce us. A very awkward introduction led to 4 years of dating and a fabulous wedding to happen in December.

My fiance Tang and I met at a pickup soccer game in Nashville, TN. After the game, we all went back to his house for a potluck dinner, and we bonded over cooking and traveling. We dated for two years (including a year of long-distance) when he proposed to me on top of a beautiful lighthouse! Only 10 more weeks until I'm his Mrs!

my fiancee and i met during spring break, at a college pool party. i had already become acquainted with his close-knit group of friends, but because he was attending the rival college an hour away, i hadn't met him yet. when i did finally get a chance to meet him, he immediately asked me to apply sun lotion to his back, while making some smart-ass remark about it. first impression: i was not too fond of this guy because he was such a jerk, but somehow we'd always end up being around each other during the summer weekends when he'd come in to town to go out with our newly formed circle of friends. By the end of summer, we were talking on the phone for hours, every single night.

we dated a few people while our friendship continued to grow, and after 7 months of just being "real close friends," we made it official and turned our friendship into a relationship. After 6 years of dating, we got engaged. Within 8 years we went from frenemies to best friends - and now, we're getting married in 3 months. Neither of us expected this, but we're so happy it did.

My fiancé and I met at the most boring job of either of our lives. We were in a 6-week training for a call center. She transferred into my "class" and sat in my seat before I got to work. So I say next to her and my doodles became tic-tac-toe games and picture stories. Once we were in the call center she laughed as I answered the phones with different accents and made up names. One day she took the keys to my car and I just jumped in the passenger seat and she ended up never leaving.

My fiance and I met and hit it off instantly at a Halloween party. I couldn't resist his "Spring Break 1985" costume and he was one of the only people who recognized that I was a vampire flapper lol! We dated for a few months and already knew we'd be together forever. We got engaged just over a year after we started dating and will be married April 6! We don't have the budget for a videographer, but I wish we did. This would be such a dream come true!

My fiance Nick and I met in high school in 2005, his freshman year my sophomore year. My friend at the time, also named Nick, who had liked with me for four years, introduced me to my now fiancé Nick at a movie night I had at my house. I began to develop feelings for this new guy and before you know it we were stuck in this ridiculous love triangle. I was left to choose between the two most important men in my life, not wanting to hurt anyone, but decided to date the first Nick, even though after four years it just didn't work out. After 5 days, I realized I made the wrong choice and broke up with him to date his new best friend Nick, a month later. That didn't go over very well. The rest is kind of a blur, friends turned their backs on us and literally for the past 7 years it has been just me and Nick. High school was really a test of our relationship and where everything really began. People called us Vel and Cro because we were ALWAYS together, in school, after school and on weekends. And even after losing all of our friends, having them say we would never make it and it was a bad decision, we lasted and he is still the one I love and I’m still the one he wants for life. He proposed Thanksgiving day 2011 and we are getting married March 3, 2013. The "theme" for our wedding is fairytales, because he is my happily ever after. He is a true gentleman, or prince charming, and I just could not be happier. I wasn't able to find work after graduating college in May, and because of that we have had to cut back on some wedding expenses, including a cinematographer. I love your work and would truly be thankful if we had the opportunity to tell our love story in a video. <3

Imprint did my friend Rachel Smith's wedding video! They're completely amazing. They were one of the first vendors she recommended to me and I love their style! We're still trying to work videography into our budget and would love this opportunity!

Scott and I met almost 6 years ago after leading parallel lives. We grew up a few blocks away from each other, went to the same high school, had mutual friends (two of my best friends are even his friends' younger sisters!) We never knew who the other was until a mutual friend introduced us my freshman year, and we've been together ever since. We knew we wanted to get married after our first 6 months together, but we were so young so we waited...and waited :)

I knew a proposal was imminent last summer, and thought for sure Scott would pop the question on any number of romantic occasions (his birthday vacation with my family, a trip just the two of us, on our anniversary, etc.) Each came and went with no ring in sight, and I gave up my hopeful weekly manicures. Of course, he'd been planning in secret for months and on a random Thursday surprised me with a fancy dinner invitation, a private dining room, rose petals on the table, and the wait staff bringing me long stemmed red rose after rose. When I had an impressive bouquet, he got down on one knee with the ring he designed and I sob/shouted YES! It was better than any of the proposals I'd imagined and I can't wait to marry him :)

Lucas and I both ran track in college him in South Carolina and me Pennsylvania. In 1999 we raced at the same track meet in North Carolina… but we never met… it happened again in 2000… but again our eyes never met! Fast forward 9 years and we are both living in Florida. Lucas’ sister put him on E-Harmony without him know it… I was convinced to join by a friend. We were matched and his sister let him in on the secret… we met on Feb 19 and were married a year and a half later! God has a plan and a timeline for everyone!! We are thankful for God writing our love story! Now we love to go fishing together – we love the outdoors… it’s awesome to have your best friend, fishing buddy, and husband all in the same man! He’s patient, he is faithful, and he is all mine! As he says, “she’s hooked!” <3

My fiance, Will, and I met when we were freshmen in high school we often got in trouble in Biology class for making too much noise talking the whole class period haha. We were friends, but a year later that friendship turned into something more. We have been through a lot, long distance (twice) and a baby (who just turned 1!) and after 9 years of dating we finally became engaged this past October. We are just starting to plan for our wedding now, and aiming for October this year! YIKES! I better get on the whole wedding thing asap! :) I would love the opportunity to spread the word of our story with your video!

My fiancé and I met in a very odd place for most people - school, which is normal enough, but our school was a graduate program for video games. We were told school would be hard (and it was, 80 hours a week on average). We were told we'd all be working in close quarters (also true, the 55 of us became one big slightly dysfunctional family) and for those reasons, we were all discouraged from dating one another. After a few weeks of knowing each other, joking around, light flirting, and completely falling for each other, we threw caution to the wind and were the only couple to start dating in our class. Having a relationship was hard - we worked hard, saw each other at our best and worst, and comforted each other through crazy class schedules, games getting cut, his Mom being diagnosed with cancer, and all sorts of stress. Then we finally graduated and started our careers.

Two years and two months later, Geoff proposed to me at Disney World. It was a beautiful day full of surprises (I have details on my site). I can't express how much he means to me, and I would love to have our story on film to look back on in the years ahead.

My hubby and I met through my old roommate and her boyfriend. My Roommate and I were lounging by a local Orlando pool when she got a phone call to see if she wanted to go out on a boat. Of course she accepted and asked to bring me along. So we were on our way to an unknown location and when we arrived I met my future hubby and my future in-laws :) That day we were semi set-up on a little blind date but honestly we didn't get that feeling. Within the following days I headed to New Orleans for Jazz Fest and had left my phone in Orlando. Upon my return I had a few texts and a voicemail from Andy wondering if I would join him for dinner that week. We met May 1st, first kiss was May 5th, and I moved in with him on June 16th!! And we are going on our 7th wedding anniversary this year (along with our almost 6 and 4 year old boys) :) I was young and didn't have a ton of money so we have no video documenting any of this or our wedding :( Help me Imprint!!

    February 7, 2013 3:13 pm

I am an avid story teller, so this is long.. and written in 3rd person, but it comes from the heart!

n April 2008, Kaity was a freshman at UF and was looking for a summer job in Gainesville. She decided to apply to Brasington's Adventure Outfitters. Resume in hand and sporting her best outdoor wear, Kaity went in to ask for a job.

Well, she wasn't expecting to walk in and have to talk to an extremely tall and handsome guy (Cody) and nervously blurted, "Hi, may I speak to a major?" Cody then looked at Kaity like she was crazy and said, "uh, you mean a manager?"

Kaity was mortified, BUT she got the job. Cody still teases her about this to this day.

At Brasington's, Kaity and Cody were great friends and spent their summer at work talking and joking around. They found in each other a great friend.

At the end of the summer, Cody had decided to transfer to Auburn University in Auburn, AL and left abruptly to start that fall. On their last day working, the friends awkwardly said goodbye, both wanting to say more but couldn't and didn't.

Time went on and they each lived their lives. They both traveled, had fun nights with friends, tailgated for football games, and fell in and out of love with others. Their college days were incredible, and every so often their minds would wander back to that person they used to work with and were secretly in love with.

Then, years later in September 2010, the two got back in touch and began to talk daily. It was great connecting with each other, especially since they both fondly remembered their friendship. Once getting back in contact, they each realized that they were given a second chance, and both made it their goal to never lose each other again.

Seeing each other again confirmed it all, and the two naturally (finally!!!) formed a relationship.

They dated long distance, then upon college graduation Kaity accepted an internship in Birmingham and they moved in together.

Their home is full of love, laughter, and learning. During their first year, they made delicious food together, dabbled in DIY and home improvement projects, got constant joy out of their dogs, and even had both of their families at the house for Christmas.

Like a puzzle, everything came together perfectly. So well in fact, that Cody decided to buy a ring.

... Cont’d … b/c I forgot to include how he proposed...b/c that was sweet too!! He picked me up from my house because we had plans to go to lunch with friends but he said forgot something at his house. We pulled up to the house and when we got out, he looked at me and asked if I had forgotten something… I said no... he continued, “but something is missing!” He then grabbed my hand and got down on one knee, “Danielle Elizabeth Stanislaus Kalinoski you are the most precious gift, next to salvation, I have ever been given and I thank God or you every day! I am a better man with you than without you, will you marry me?” I fell to my knees crying and of course I said YES!

After a bit we walked into the house and to my surprise, he had gathered all of our immediate family and my close girlfriends. There were congrats signs, balloons, gifts, pictures and we celebrated with catered champagne, cupcakes and our favorite BBQ!! Later I found out some family members were filming from the second story window and also hiding in the bushes taking photos of the actual proposal unfold!! <3

I love the idea of a love story movie and when I showed my hubby the one above – we both teared up! Ya’ll do such a great job! We day dreamed about you making one on our boat while we're fishing together!! May the best man win this worthy prize!!!

My fiance, Will and I met through a mutual friend. Our friend Angela, was moving from Jacksonville (where I was living) to Orlando (where Will was living) at the time. We threw her a going away party and friends from both homes came to celebrate. The story goes that I caught Will's eye at the party and afterwards, he asked Angela for my number. She told him she would not give it to him, but he could earn it if he helped her move. To his own detriment, he did NOT help her move, and did NOT get my number. Almost two years later, Ang and I made plans for me to visit Orlando. Not 5 minutes after agreeing to the trip to O-town, I got a text from Angela. It was a forwarded text between her and Will. She asked him what he was doing that weekend and told him I would be in town. His response? "I'll clear my schedule". (Yes, i do still have a screenshot of this).

He did in fact clear his schedule and throw a "party" at his house so I would have a reason to come over with Angela. Everyone knew it was a giant set-up (including myself) and I was SO nervous. We went to the party, and after the initial nervousness subsided, we hit it off. (He will kill me for saying this but...) He followed me around asking me out all night, and introduced me to people as his future girlfriend. I obviously couldn't resist his subtle charm, and we've been together ever since!!

We will be married September 28, 2013. I cannot wait to be his wife!!!

3.5 years ago I spotted an attractive man outside the apartment complex i was living in. I had been single for over a year and thought it was time that I took some action. I found out we were both in the same program at school (just starting it) so I messaged him asking if he wanted to study some time -- and that I needed help in our anatomy lab (even though I definitely did not). He agreed to meet with me the next morning by our school buses. We went to our anatomy lab together and he actually started teaching me things... totally oblivious to my googly eyes for him. After this initial meeting we hung out every day for the next two weeks and eased into a relationship. We have been together ever since and recently got engaged under a beautiful waterfall in Costa Rica this past December!! We are planning our wedding for april of 2014 right before he enters the air force! So excited!!

Me and the man met one random day in April. Bob Marley's old band came to Downtown Orlando and set up a pool in the middle of the city. I being the outgoing random type was one of about 6 people to get in that day. Mike being the more reserved relaxed type was just hanging around until he saw me. I was being followed around by I guy I was not interested in when Mike came up to me pulling a somewhat best friend move to save me. We ended up talking for 3 hours that day and he did in fact become my best friend. 3 years later here we are happier than ever!

My boyfriend and I have been together for 8 years now in a very long distance relationship (I'm from Florida and he lives in Canada!). We first started talking on MSN Messenger a really really long time ago (10 years now!). The best thing about our relationship is that we first learnt to become each others friend and be there for moral support. It then developed into love and despite the distance and the small number of visits in the last 8 years, our relationship has only gotten stronger. We are so looking forward to starting a life together some time real soon!!

My Fiancé Justin and I met while we were in college. We both worked at Dick's Sporting Goods. Being the runner that I am, I worked in footwear and he worked in apparel. I would see him walking through the store pushing a cart of clothes to go back, with a huge smile on his face! I would think to myself, "There goes my boyfriend" and smile as i saw him. He had only ever said hi to me but, I knew. Later that year he switched to rugged footwear upstairs. He would occasionally need help with the shoes up there and one day I volunteered to help! We have been dating ever since and we are getting married in Amelia Island at the Ribault Club on November 16, 2013.

I lived at home while she was at school so during our friendship we would text, email, and talk on the phone while she was at school. She would come home to the town we met in and we hung out all the time with our group of friend never knowing that our friendship would become so much more. I was always dating someone else while she was always focusing on school until our friendship brought us together 2 years ago on New Years and ever since then we have falling more in love with each other everyday and our love is like the movies except its not an act it is tru love. I found about Impeint Cinema through Your Dream Event and they have become more then just a vendor to us and would love the opportunity to do the same with Impeint Cinema

Dan and I met in high school working at a Coldstone Creamery together. Due to my stellar work ethic, I became his manager and we had to keep our romance a secret. We only had a summer romance because he was leaving for college at the University of Michigan. We stayed in touch with each other throughout college but both dated other people. Once Dan graduated college, he started working for Jimmy John's corporate and would travel around the US working within the different JJ locations. He called me to tell me he would be in the Orlando area and would love to have dinner. Dinner that night led to a Disney/ Universal vacation trip together, a weekend trip to Chicago, a labor day weekend in Boston and a Thanksgiving cruise in the Caribbean. We have been together for 3 years now and got engaged on our 4th annual Thanksgiving cruise last November! It was be so wonderful to work with you!

What a fun giveaway! My fiance and I met while we were in college, he at Florida Tech and myself at University of Florida. After lots of bad timing and long-distance visits, we started to realize how much we missed each other when we were apart. After a year and a half of long-distance dating, we finally moved in together and continue to build our relationship, soon-to-be marriage, and I couldn't be happier or more excited!

Edgar and I met my freshman year in collage (his junior year). Unbeknown to us, we went to to same high school, both participating in an academic program. But, we never met. Our first meeting was at my dorm room when we had a game night. A mutual friend brought him over. I was "wow"ed by the "boy in the pink shirt". We began talking and a couple of weeks later we had out first date. Since I had moved home to Orlando and he was in Gainesville for the summer, we met at a Subway in Wildwood, FL. The rest is history... after 7 1/2 years of dating, long distance, 1 doctoral degree and 1 masters, we will be getting married March 24! We would love someone to help us capture our "love story"!

My fiancé and I met seven years ago. He is my best friend's brother. We dated for a couple of months but our nine year age gap ended up putting a wedge between us. For five years we remained close friends often spending milestones in eachother's lives by default. Our friends and family (and even the people we dated) always swore we would end up together. In October 2011 my date for his sister's wedding backed out at the very last minute. My fiancé was my date instead and the rest is history. We loved eachother long distance for three months until January 2012 when he popped the question! Now we are planning the wedding of our dreams for Spring 2014!

Matt and I met in Key West, FL over a dice game at my best friend's bachelorette party. Some of you might be familiar with this game: the bride (and her friends) take turn rolling the dice and following it's instructions. We were engaging in some pretty silly behavior, including "dancing with" "a bald guy" and "take a picture with" "a short guy". I was all giggles until it was my turn. I rolled and got "kiss" "a hot guy". My girl friends egged me on and I grabbed the next bachelor that stepped onto the dance floor. A kiss on the cheek later (and a few photos, for evidence), we went our separate ways. That didn't last long though, after a few songs, he made his way back over to me. I learned he was a teacher, and he found out I wanted to be a doctor. We had a mutual desire to leap out of an airplane and go skydiving. We talked the entire night and parted ways by exchanging phone numbers. When he texted me the next morning and told me he had called the local skydiving place, and that they had an opening that very morning, I couldn't believe I had to turn him down. We had a long drive back to Orlando ahead of us, and it was simply time to go. A few days later, he called. The phone call that followed lasted nearly two hours. Five years later, after moving to Seattle and graduating medical school, changing jobs, leaving behind family and being challenged in a million different ways, we're finally getting married! We're so excited to be coming home to the sunshine state, and saying 'I Do' where it all began.

My fiancee and I met at a movie, without our knowledge we were being set up by our mutual friend Aileen. I was shy and had just barely any chance to say hi to her before we went in to the movie. But Aileen was nice enough to bring her back to my house afterwards where I was hanging out with my roommate. We talked a little bit, but didn't have much expectation after that night. Unbeknownst to us, our friend still had plans for us.

A month later, we met at her party and really hit it off. Before we knew it, it was morning and we had talked all night. I even dozed off on the couch. Lucky for me, she left me her number before leaving. We've been inseparable ever since.

Mary and I met while working in the same hospital. She ignored me for months every time I tried to strike a conversation with her, she claims she was actually "working" or something. Finally at a birthday outing for a mutual friend we found ourselves drawn together cheering for the same football team playing on the restaurants TV screen - apparently it took some football and a martini for her to notice me. We haven't gone more than a day without talking to each other since, and have become that cute adorable inseparable couple that you only read about in books. Seriously, people are frustrated with how "in love" we are. I am now happy to call her my fiance as we venture into the world of wedding planning, and cannot wait to call her my wife <3

My fiance Robert and I met in October of 2006 through a mutual friend. Through a few phone calls and text message with pictures we decided to meet up. We been through a tremendous amount of obstacles together which have made us stronger each time. We just celebrated our 6 year dating anniversary on Thanksgiving day. We went on a cruise for Christmas this past year and he popped the question under the beautiful moon and stars on the helicopter pad at the front of the boat in the middle of the ocean between Haiti and Jamaica. It was so romantic! Perfect! I feel that since we've been through our twenties together we can get through anything. We are perfect for each other and will be marrying on December 7th at a beautiful resort in front of our loving families. So excited to be his wife! To have our love story put together by Samm and Alex would be amazing! A gift to treasure forever!

My now fiance Nick and I first met in tenth grade when we both won positions in our Sophomore class student government association. He was elected the very suiting title as Class Treasurer (being that today, he works in accounting), while I was Class President. We went from new classmates, to "just prom dates", to significant others, to finally- a freshly engaged couple over the last ten years.

The story of Nick and I is interestingly platonic in the beginning, progressively playful in the middle, and faithfully confident that we will have a happily ever after. Our long-distance romance has brought us to some of our live’s most trying and most triumphant times. Over the last two years, Nick and I have flown between my home in Winnipeg, Manitoba (yes, Canada) and his in sunny Orlando, Florida for the sake of hugging each other on special days like a birthday, a graduation, or a cozy Thanksgiving dinner. At one point- Nick even packed his bags and travelled across the pond to London, England where I was living just to spend a sweet week of summer together. Given this, the moment we say our vows before our holy Father, dearest family and closest friends will be a crossroad in our relationship- it’ll mark the point in which Nick and I can finally continue our froyo-eating, living room tent-making, lunchtime chatting, zoo-visiting, cross-country journey… together.
