An Elegant Peacock Inspired Museum Wedding

This week is a double dose of weddings! Today I am sharing an elegant purple peacock inspired wedding sent over from Be Inspired PR. I’m in love with this stunning venue! Museums have always been some of my favorite wedding sites. I’m also loving her gorgeous bouquet with all the fun texture!

The beautiful bride Jesse shares:

Because we were expecting, we planned our wedding in only three months and I can not thank my wedding planner enough, Missy Christianson with Antonia Christianson Events.  Because Brandon and I were so excited about having our closest family and friends witness our vows to eachother, we knew that the Chrysler museum would provide the perfect backdrop for our ceremony.  Deavid’s provided the beautifully decorated structure we were married under, which we hung candle lit globes representing those who were not physically able to be there.  Missy and the team at Blue Steel produced the curtain idea which provided a dramatic entrance for my father and I as we walked down the aisle.

Brandon and I have spent very little time apart since we started dating and had not seen eachother all day the day of the wedding, therefore the anticipation of seeing each other for the first time at the altar was very important to us, and the dramtic entrance was something we shall never forget.  The chrysler provided a romantic stage for our entrance as a married couple, as well as envoking feelings of royality when we appeared at the top of the marble staircase leading into our reception.  I had previously worked with Dustin Lewis and knew he was absolutely the photographer for our special day, I found that is it very important to have a comfortable relationship with your photographer, and Dustin and his team made both Brandon and I feel at ease and eager to see his creative visions with our pictures.  We also had a photo booth at our wedding which was a huge hit for our guests and provided many pictures to add to our favorites!

Brandon and I have a great sense of humor, one that we share often with our friends and family. We wanted to do something fun for our guests by playing a little practical joke and drawing attention to our excitement about expecting. Instead of your typical garder routine, we gathered everyone’s attention and Brandon looked as if he was under my dress retrieving the garder, but actually pulled out a baby doll. While for some this may have been in poor taste, the roar of everyone’s laughter was more than we could have hoped for!

The attention to detail was present at every aspect of our event, played out perfectly by Missy and her staff, the lighting crew and the staff from Cuisine and Company, recorded effortlessly by Dustin and his team. I would also like to acknowledge my sister, Ashley Williams for aiding me in planning for this day as well. As I was focused on the true meaning of this day, pledging my love and devotion to my future husband, Ashley could focus on napkin colors and song choices, the minor deatils that made this wedding so memorable and complete. There are so many people to praise for producing an elegant, perfect wedding and because of this, Brandon and I could focus on eachother, the most important part of anyone’s wedding.
