Romantic Winter Farmhouse Wedding

The Villa at Blackberry Ridge set the perfect backdrop for Jacob and Alexis’s Georgia wedding, showcasing a modern farmhouse feel with natural elegance. The all-white barn, surrounded by acres of fields and orchards, provided an ideal setting for their indoor ceremony. Planned by W Events, the floral arrangements reflected the winter season with ferns and branches of greenery. Their ceremony was officiated by Jacob’s sister, who shared the couple’s love story in a deeply personal way, capturing their energy and connection. Alexis customized her gown with organza bishop sleeves with cuffs at the wrist. Inspired by their favorite restaurants, the couple served appetizers that reflected their most memorable dining experiences. Later, Alexis changed into a party mini dress paired with white cowboy boots, while guests sipped late-night espresso martinis. The couple’s favorite memories include their private last dance, during which they recapped the entire night, just before their bubble send-off.

“Alexis always knew she wanted sleeves for her wedding dress, so once she found her dream dress without sleeves, she bought it and got it altered to be exactly what she envisioned. Just as Alexis stood out from her bridesmaids by wearing a white wedding dress, we wanted Jacob to stand out from his groomsmen as well by wearing a white tux jacket. Jacob is also the most comfortable in boots, so we found a nice pair that he loved and will last forever.”

“We were inspired by a timeless theme with hints of gold, sage green, white, and dark green. We really wanted something that we would love now but also love 20 years from now while still feeling like it was “us”.”

“We loved pretty much every detail during our wedding day. Our favorite overall was probably the napkins with our dog, Sebastian, on them, since it included him in our special day. We also loved that our seating chart had “Our Favorite People” with a couple of our engagement pictures displayed. Finally, all our passed hors d’oeuvres were inspired by appetizers from all our favorite restaurants we have been to during our relationship.”

“Our overall favorite memory was celebrating on the dance floor together with all our favorite people and finishing it with our private last night to recap the entire night together before our bubble exit (which was so fun and the photos came out stunning!)”
