Boldly enchanted by gladiolas and mood lighting, Rachel and Trey’s wedding day, captured by Kelly Hornberger, created editorial lounge spaces with a swanky hotel feel, set to the iconic backdrop of their venue’s vintage floral wallpaper. The couple embraced their initial inspiration of an inviting lounge with amplified glowy candlelight, mirrored furniture, and an expansion of florals into the next dimension. When Rachel saw the country club’s green velvet Chesterfield sofa, she knew it would anchor their luxurious theme of ivories and greens. Tables were set with lamps, curated framed photos, and candy bowls upon mirrored trays. A five-tiered wedding cake rested beautifully in layers of white roses and edible pearls. With an escort by their band, Rachel and Trey made their way through a bubble-filled send-off into a custom 1940s vintage Mercedes.

“I wore a beautiful strapless, a-line dress by Romona Keveza. We added lace floral applique, an organza overskirt, and a custom lace bolero. This gave me multiple looks without having to change out of my wedding gown. It was absolutely the dress of my dreams!”

“Once we got to the church, we felt so calm and couldn’t wait to marry each other in a church filled with all of our friends and family.”

“We wanted our reception to feel cozy and romantic with conversation areas that felt like a hotel lounge. We focused on glowy candlelight, mirrored tables, and unique floral moments.“
