If you are a fan of Studio McGee’s show, Dream Home Makeover, you will love this wedding inspiration from Maddy Williams Photography! Taking the design team’s organic style and giving it a wedding twist, this shoot is so fresh and full of ideas you will love. From the bud vase escort station to the rattan baskets to the chic blue and white color combo, every detail is inspiring!
Watching Studio McGee’s new show, Dream Home Makeover on Netflix gave us endless inspiration for organic design. For our Spring editorial shoot at Stone Tower Winery, we were inspired by Studio McGee’s aesthetic and how interior design impacts trends in wedding design. When designing weddings, we love to consider all kinds of textures and elements to play with, especially within the flatlay details and tablescapes. For this styled shoot, we were inspired by a soft coastal color palette, and the use of textures and layering to create a beautiful vision for an organic winery wedding. One of the greatest ways to make a wedding feel distinctive is to incorporate an escort station that is authentic to the couple. We often suggest something that doubles as a guest favor—providing them with a unique experience and checks off the guest favor concept in a fun way. I loved these “please find your flower and take your seat,” bud vases we designed for this Studio McGee-inspired editorial. These sweet little bud vases perfectly reflect the natural landscape of the setting and double as escort cards and fun favors to enhance the guest experience! We absolutely love the details of this gorgeous shoot, with neutral and organic textures accented by coastal blues and greens for a pop of color. This vineyard in the rolling hills of Virginia was the ideal setting, adding to the soft and romantic vibe of our shoot. With our focus on incorporating elements of the natural landscape and our attention to the fine details, we hope to make Shea at Studio McGee proud with this editorial shoot!
