Wanting to leave a smaller footprint on your wedding day? You will love these sustainable wedding ideas from Michelle Lynn Weddings and Kerry McIntyre Photography! From the seed paper invitations to the dried floral wreath bouquet, all the details are eco-friendly. Even the tablescape is filled with fresh potted plants that guests can take home later!
The sustainable and vintage styling of this shoot was inspired by the stunning gorge filled landscape of the Finger Lakes region in upstate NY. A color palette of blue, terra cotta, and gold evoked a natural and organic feel with a touch of elegance. This styled shoot at the Inn at Taughannock was planned with the goal to showcase chic eco-friendly wedding inspiration. Seed paper stationery, sustainably and ethically made attire and jewelry, vintage rentals, organic materials, dried floral arrangements and potted plants helped reduce the carbon footprint of this wedding. And the historic inn that overlooks Cayuga Lake and located right by Taughannock Falls provided great access to incredible views and natural scenery, oh-so-perfect for an outdoor nature-inspired summer wedding.
