With a color palette inspired by the desert, you are sure to love this sweet micro wedding from Kristen Marie Weddings + Portraits! Set at a stunning golf club, you almost wouldn’t know this wedding took place in Vegas. Though inspired by their hikes to Red Rock, the hues of coppers and plums picked by the couple are so perfectly fall!
We wanted our wedding to show people a side of Las Vegas that they don’t always see. We envisioned bringing together a small group of our friends and family for good food, wine and conversation. Siena Golf Club provided a beautiful outdoor setting where we could celebrate our wedding on a perfect fall day.
It was important to us to find a venue with beautiful outdoor space that reflects our love of the desert. We wanted to splurge on the elements that were important to us: good food, wine, and a nice setting, while skipping the “extras” like a photo booth, extravagant signage, and other distractions.
Our favorite memory from the day was entering the reception and seeing all of our family and friends’ smiling faces, and sitting down to enjoy our first dinner together as a married couple.
One of our favorite places to hike is Red Rock Canyon in Las Vegas, where the desert colors really pop. The colors of the desert (cacti, blooms, sunsets, and red earth) inspired our fall flowers.
Our fall wedding was a perfect excuse to have the bride’s favorite flavor of dessert – pumpkin! The two-tiered cake was made with one layer of pumpkin cake and one layer of spice cake, all with cream cheese frosting. The bride’s sister painted the cake toppers.
