Lovers of art deco and 1920’s style will fall head over heels for this inspiration from Lindsay Lazare Photography! The black and gold color palette is so classic for this vintage style, but we love the pops of pink to soften it up a little. All of the floral installations, from the stairs to the centerpieces, are stunning and give that added bit of romance to this era of glamour.
The inspiration for this shoot was highly connected to the gorgeous venue. Built in 1837, Dramatic Hall’s builder was connected to President Abraham Lincoln. The venue sits at the top level of the historic building. The shoot truly captured the dramatic elements of old Hollywood Film Noir while showcasing style inspired by the Roaring Twenties. Handmade details such as the bride’s feather headpiece as well as the bridesmaids’ fans perfectly transport the images back in time. Glitzy gold, and art deco inspired the tablescape. A hanging floral chandelier installation balanced the glitz with some softness. Name cards were hand-lettered in gold on black paper and silk napkins added additional textures to the table.
