We are all about lush garden romance today with this shoot captured by McNiel Photography! The color palette of peach and sage is so romantic and perfect for any season. We love the bride’s modern vintage halo headpiece! The garden ceremony gives off the dreamiest Secret Garden vibes with the floral backdrop highlighting the iron gate.
We wanted to create a fashion-forward shoot that drew on royal, arts-inspired looks with hints of watercolor and European design. We really wanted to highlight all that the venue had to offer and accent its natural beauty with these concepts. The florist used lush, romantic feeling soft blooms. Many of the blooms were Wisconsin-grown, including tree peonies, campanula, starry clematis, and many more. Sally also included freshly foraged birch and poplar foliage and constructed a customized urn structure for the ceremony backdrop. The design was to stay textural, simple, and thoughtful. The featured dessert was a custom watercolor sugar cookie placed in our table setting.
