Our wedding was a gorgeous vintage garden theme. Very elegant and enchanting. Lots of metallics and greenery were the inspiration! Our location was breathtaking for our vision. Gorgeous lighting and chandeliers hung from the trees along with the Spanish Moss which gave us the perfect enchanted garden atmosphere we desired!
We were gifted with a 1940’s Classic Phantom Rolls Royce to use for our wedding. Being driven with my father to the aisle and that moment walking towards Vincent I would say is a favorite for both of us! Another is our “first look” we had before the ceremony where the butterflies were in full effect, and we gave each other special gifts and took in those amazing moments with each other, absorbing the complete joy we felt knowing the day was finally here!!
The most important thing to us while planning was to remember to enjoy the process. It’s one of the most special times in a couple’s relationship, and it’s a big project. Keeping in mind the love behind the day kept the planning process fun and exciting!
We had a reserved “In Memoriam” sign made to reserve a seat for Vincent’s father. And all our signs around the venue were customized for us as well. We also had hand written table name cards which gave a personal touch! Our rings are both family heirlooms. My ring was Vincent’s mother’s original wedding ring she received from his father, who passed away when he was 12. Vincent’s ring was his grandfather’s wedding ring, who has also passed on. Both very special pieces.
Our first dance was magical too! We danced on a cloud, under the canopy of lights as the sun had just set! We both get so excited and nostalgic when reflecting back on our day!
