One wedding venue option I bet you’ve never thought of: Main Street! A whole city block of Sumter, South Carolina was blocked off for this romantic Southern wedding captured by Megan Manus Photography. The long row of farm house tables down the center of the street is such a wow factor and unexpected fun for guests!
My wedding day was truly a dream come true. The romantic deep reds mixed with rose pinks and golds made for the most beautiful fall decor. My dress was a vintage inspired lace gown that went well with the bohemian/romantic style that I was looking for.
I wrapped my great great Grandmother’s handkerchief around my bouquet and my Mother in Law gave me a beautiful sapphire and diamond ring which was a gift from my Father in Law to her on one of their first anniversaries to wear as my something blue.
The most important things to the two of us while planning were the food and the band! We wanted everyone who attended to have the night of their lives and enjoy fantastic food as we love to travel and try foods from everywhere.
I could not have asked for a more perfect location than downtown Sumter SC to hold the reception. The newly renovated outdoor venue was picture perfect with exposed brick and bistro lights adding the perfect ambiance for the evening.
My favorite parts of the day where seeing Ryan for the first time when I walked down the aisle, and our first dance. Celebrating with family and friends was the best part!
